Dimmu history

Originally released in 1998, GODLESS SAVAGE GARDEN, Dimmu Borgir's stopgap between ENTHRONE DARKNESS TRIUMPHANT and SPIRITUAL BLACK DIMENSIONS, quickly became a fan favorite. Featuring two brand new songs, two re-recordings from the band's scarce 1994 debut FOR ALL TID, an Accept cover song ("Metal Heart"), and a handful of rare live tracks, GODLESS SAVAGE GARDEN provided new and old Dimmu fans with a little taste of everything in the band's blackened arsenal. Recorded and mixed by Hypocrisy front man Peter Tagtgren, the EP is considered as relevant as any Dimmu Borgir album for helping mold the Norwegians into the foreboding force of metal seen today.
1998 album for the Nuclear Blast label by the acclaimed dark metal act. Produced by Peter Tatgren of Hypocrisy, this CD features three live tracks & five studio cuts.
