Reissue of the eponymous album from this Dutch act, originally released in an edition of 50 copies in 2007. “Music about forests, transcendence,
cleansing, drowning, fire and light.”
This album takes folk- and shoegaze-inspired passages with pulsating
ritual/industrial percussion (for which a prepared piano was used) & black ambient tapestries and combines these to an idiosyncratic path
through various afforested audiotopes. Pro-pressed CD, presented in a
handmade wooden gatefold sleeve with cloth lining and 4 double-sided
inserts. Wrapped in incense-dried Norwegian maple leaves and sealed in a plastic sleeve.
