Pressed by Verne on two vinyl records, this exhaustive unofficial anthology collects rare and unreleased material recorded by the Beatles during the landmark sessions for Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band, carried out at EMI (Abbey Road) and Regent Sound studios in London between December 1966 and April 1967.

The four sides contain 37 tracks: alternate takes of the title track, "With A Little Help From My Friends", "Lucy In The Sky With Diamonds", "Getting Better", "Fixing A Hole", "Being For The Benefit Of Mr. Kite!", "Within You Without You", "Good Morning Good Morning" and "A Day In The Life", an instrumental take of "She's Leaving Home", various alternate takes of the contemporary single "Strawberry Fields Forever" / "Penny Lane", and versions of "You Know My Name (Look Up The Number)" and "Only A Northern Song".
